We provide instruction in traditional northern praying mantis kung fu. My curriculum includes qi gong, stretching, weapons defense, knife techniques, and fighting multiple assailants.
I enjoy giving people the tools to protect themselves. I provide instruction for all ages both children and adults. My curriculum is useful in real life situations. It provides health benefits, and confidence knowing you are able to defend yourself and protect others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Going through the initial trial of the basics to get a feel of what they are looking to learn. Usually an initial consultation. Then scheduling a start date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years training in northern praying mantis kung fu.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Classes are $80 monthly for 2 classes per week. Or $20 per drop in class. If additional time or private classes are needed, I can discuss in person to go over thr details.
How did you get started teaching?
My school started me out teaching the first time you advance to the next level. You then continue to teach what you have learned to your younger kung fu brothers and sisters to maintain your sharpness. I am also a nonprofit organizer and a business owner so I have been accustomed to teaching groups for a long while.

Both children and adults all ages.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find what you feel is best for you. Always have choices so that you may be comfortable where you start. Martial arts is something you dedicate your time and energy into. Make sure you are happy with your decision and learning.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Goals, strengths, weaknesses, and what type of learning style is best for you. How often will you train. Also are there any students in the area that have trained with you.
