Played in a Celtic Rock band, The Killdares, for 15 years. Now retired in Dallas, TX teaching private and group lessons to all levels & ages.

I have the best job in the world...teaching others how to play music they love ...no matter their age or experience! I grew up in a house full of music and we were able to travel all over the U.S. and meet many great people and musicians through fiddling. It's such a joy being able to pass that tradition along so others can enjoy sharing music with their friends and families for the rest of their lives, in hopes of them passing it along from generation to generation.

Roberta is the best. Im a mid 20s student that was looking to learn bluegrass fiddle. I had previously played bluegrass mandolin for 8 years before starting. Roberta has lots of experience in all sorts of music, and bluegrass was one of them, so she has been able to help me out a lot.

She caters her teaching to each student. So in my case, she gives me a mix of tablature and teaching by ear. She set up a DropBox account with me where she puts recordings and tab/notations. She also asked me for a list of my favorite songs and influences. She then drew from that after seeing what techniques I needed to learn. Since joining her team, my playing has skyrocketed.

Ive been learning from her for 3 months now and I couldnt recommend her more. Super knowledgeable, very flexible, and really nice. Give her a try!
