I am an experienced piano instructor who has

been serving the El Paso area for over 10 years. I am also a magna cum laude graduate who holds a BA in Music. I studied right here in El Paso under the mentorship of the renowned Dr Lucy Scarbrough, and have performed both as a soloist and an accompanist. I have taken everything I learned in my training and applied it directly to my teaching. This means that I offer and have found much success with a well-rounded approach to my instruction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Students learn to play the piano not only through memorization and technique, but learn to skillfully read music and understand music theory. Attention is also given to ear training, consisting of fun and educational listening activities that help develop my students' musical ears. I currently teach over 30 students, and my students are consistently at the top of their respective music/band/orchestra classes K-12. Students who have decided to take college entrance exams for music programs are fully and happily prepped to do so through my instruction.

I teach beginner through advanced levels, and yes, I teach online!
