Learning the piano is challenging, but it's also fun! In my studio, I like to supplement lessons with creative games and activities that teach music skills in an engaging way. I also use fun supplemental books with melodies that kids will recognize (e.g., Disney or kid songs), which makes learning to play exciting. I'm all about teaching theory and good technique - and I believe that using a variety of teaching methods is one of the best ways to achieve that.
I love working with people of all ages and finding out how they learn best. That way, I can make new concepts fun and easy to learn. I also enjoy being creative about my lesson plans to keep things interesting, especially for kids.
