Jernero's Muzik Studio

My name is Jernero Cardenas and I've been teaching for over 20 years. I was as elementary music teacher for 19 years in Fort Worth. I have a BFA in music education from Texas State University with classical guitar as my performing instrument. I was also a guitar and piano instructor for 5 years at Guitar Center. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others from children to adults. I teach guitar (classical, acoustic, electric), ukulele, piano and singing. I work with beginners to advanced players and teach many styles of music.

Lately I have written songs for acoustic with singing, two pieces for classical guitar and two pieces for electric guitar. I encourage students to want to learn a song of their own while I focus on the technique of the students. I also have certifications in Kodaly and Orff. I enjoy one on one music lessons and working with students of all levels.
