I am a certified cooking instructor by Euromar Culinary Center in Mexico. Additionally I have three graduate degrees from the "Culinary Arts Institute" in Baja California in "International Cooking", "Mediterranean Cuisine", "Holiday Cooking (Christmas-Thanksgiving)" and "The new Mexican Cuisine" (traditional dishes prepared with new techniques including gastronomy from the center and south of Mexico, far from the world wide known guacamole, quesadilla, taco, enchiladas, etc).
I come from a family of wine producers and my passion for cooking started in the heat and warmth of my grandmother's kitchen when I was a child. She taught me all about mexico's sothern food and also passed on the tradition of exquisit Spanish dishes (beeing my great gand father from Cadiz, Spain). I couldnt understand any Christmas with out her famous Turkey, Vacalao and her amazing "Galletitas de Navidad" (freshly baked cookies asortment).
I love to bring that pasion for cooking into each one of my clasess. I am offering cooking lessons tailoring all classes according to my Students needs. I also offer fun and educational wine tasting lessons in which we tour the world around the main wine regions ( Europe, South America, America, South Africa, Australia) learning to identify all the aromas, flavors and spices in a good wine as well as the basic description of the grapes and varietals. As per my students requests, in some lessons, I include one wine tasting at the end of the class.
For 5 years I ran and operated a Catering Service Co in Mexico: "L' Ces Catering" where I had the privilege to serve satisfied friends, clients and family. I enjoyed very much getting into a House, School, Hotel or any venue and transform the environment by setting up a beautiful table and start serving food and drinks.
What I enjoy the most is the satisfaction on a student or client's face after a class or service. To be able to have families gather together and laugh around a nice meal. I enjoy passing on the cooking tradition to my students. It is very satisfying to see how students love and enjoy each class and how can they improve by far the teacher's skills!!
My goal is that every student can meet and exceed their expectations by creating a relaxed environment on the kitchen so they can have fun and learn at the same time! I am always available after class for any concern or question.
