Frequently asked questions

I work with the student to determine what their goal is--eat healthier, learn the basics, gain a new skill, more options for meal planning, or even learning to cook great meals in a matter of minutes.

Besides having used microwave cookware from Tupperware for at least 25 years, I am a former certified High School Science teacher.  I have always enjoy teaching, and like to throw in a few "scientific facts" on how the cooking in the microwave happens.

Lessons are free if you have at least 5 other friends join you in the class, and try the food with you. You do provide the ingredients of the dishes we cook. Because I will be demonstrating Tupperware cookware, attendees will have the option to purchase various Tupperware products.  It is not a requirement to order, but the hostess of the class can earn free or discounted items if orders are made. The microwave cookware pieces from Tupperware range in cost from $29 to $199, and like all Tupperware, is guaranteed for life.

I started teaching science in 1981. and started teaching Tupperware microwave cooking classes in the 1990's when i sold Tupperware part-time.  I like to save time cooking, and not have to dirty lots of dishes, or turn the stove or oven on during the summer.  Tupperware microwave items help me achieve those goals.

Besides teaching high school science students, I have experience in training college students to become science teachers, teaching science teachers how to teach various topics in science, and teaching every day people how to cook in the microwave.

I participate in many vendor events where I demonstrate and sell Tupperware products. I most enjoy talking to people who come by and reflect on the Tupperware products that their Moms or Grandmothers had when they were growing up.  Tupperware is celebrating their 70th year in business in 2018, and we would not have been around this long if we were not a quality product.  Our lifetime guarantee says it all.  When you purchase a Tupperware product, you are creating the memories your family will have of you and your kitchen one day.

Be open to new ways to do things.  There are lots of ways to cook, and a microwave is nothing to be afraid of.  There are lots of Tupperware ladies out there who will do a party and maybe be able to demonstrate how to cook one or two meals. I am not focused on doing a party with you. I would like to help make your life easier by teaching you and some of your friends how to cook in the microwave. It would be great if you all decide to buy lots of Tupperware too, but my number one goal is to teach you how to cook.

What is your goal?  What meal do you need to save time cooking? How many people would you be cooking for? What dietary restrictions or food dislikes are you dealing with? Are you wanting to just learn a new meal or two, or are you wanting to go full speed into learning a new way to cook? What are your fears about microwave cooking? What bad experiences have you had with microwaved food?
