I am a Certified Fitness Trainer in Bell County, TX, specifically from Belton to Cove. I offer fitness and sports training for ages 8 and up.

I am dedicated to changing lives! I want to inspire as many people as I possibly can. I want to have someone look at me and say, "because of you, I didn't give up."

My passion in life is fitness and helping others first reach their goals, then break their goals and finally go above and beyond their original goals. One day your workout will be your warm up!

I have over 10 years experience in sports and fitness as an athlete, coach and fitness instructor. I am truly my happiest when I'm training others. I have trained here in Texas as well as Colorado and California and also coached Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Track in Colorado and California. I'd be coaching here in TX if I didn't have to be a teacher as well. I was a trainer with the award winning Camp Gladiator for 3 years where I made a ton of friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime! I have clients that I still work with to this day even after leaving CG in 2018. 

Remember that your health is an INVESTMENT, not an expense. Everyone wants to eat, but few are willing to hunt..Meaning, if you want to see change, you have to make it happen, you have to be STRONGER than your strongest excuse! Find your WHY, the reason for starting a fitness routine. Once you do, nothing will be able to stop you! You're stronger than you think!

Seeing people achieve what they once thought would never be possible. Watching my clients crush their goals and create new ones is so awesome. Educating people in fitness and correct nutritional information is very important to me. I want to be sure that even when our time together ends, they continue to work hard for their goals and continue with the  positive habits we created together.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First session is always free. I like to ask questions and figure out what each individual person's fitness goals are. I also put together a nutrition plan that is tailored to each clients needs and goals. I specialize in multiple training styles and will create a specific training regimen that focuses on the goals my clients have set for themselves. 

If your goal is to firm, tone and gain strength, without losing weight, the workouts will be focused more on strength training, power, agility and functional movements, and less focused on endurance and high cardio exercises. While cardio is extremely important to your health and will be included, the majority of each session will not be cardio based. 

I provide fun, yet challenging workouts for every session, and promise you will leave each class with a new sense of accomplishment and knowing you're one step closer to reaching your fitness goals. 

I want to help as many people as I can see that ANYONE and EVERYONE can achieve what they might think is impossible. Our bodies were built to move and can do almost anything, but it's our minds we must convince. Change your thoughts to change your body, that is the first step to reaching your goals. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 15 years experience in sports and fitness. I am an athlete, coach and fitness expert. I have been certified through ACE and ACTION, which are both Nationally Accredited certifications, as well as multiple continued learning classes that I took while employed with Camp Gladiator for almost 3 years, and while I haven't finished my course yet, I am working towards a Certification through NASM. I have been trained to work with all different types of people... Men, women, children, fitness beginners and elite athletes.

I am flexible with prices and always willing to negotiate. I do offer discounts for groups of 4 or more, for families, couples, military, teachers as well as city/state employees. 

How did you get started teaching?

Sports and fitness have always been my passion, and have been a part of my life since the 7th grade. I am truly, 100% happy when I'm training and changing lives. 

My Personal Life Goal:

I want to inspire as many people as possible! I want to change lives for the better...physically, mentally and emotionally. I want someone to look at me and say, "because of you, I didn't give up." 

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a very wide range. Men, women, children. Those new to fitness, as well as elite athletes. I have trained elderly, young, middle aged, etc. 

I have a multitude of success stories, but Deanna is by far the story that brings tears to my eyes every time. When she started with me she was extremely overweight, weighing over 400lbs. The extent of her exercise abilities consisted of walking and half squatting. I worked with her for 1 1/2 years and at that point she was running, doing planks, push ups and agility drills. When she did her first sit up the entire class of 60 people clapped and cheered for her. Her doctor even wrote "Workouts with your trainer" on her prescription pad because he was so impressed with her success. My clients are my family, and all I want is for them to succeed! 

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find one that is going to encourage and motivate you, not yell at you or make you feel inadequate because something is harder for you than it is for someone else. Find one that will tailor each workout to your specific fitness goals and needs. 

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Discuss beginning a workout routine with your doctor. Always discuss nutrition with the trainer and be sure they are knowledgeable in both fitness and nutrition, and can create a personalized workout and nutrition plan. 

Also, think about a pre workout and post workout drink, and be sure to discuss your options with the trainer. Not all pre and post workout drinks are created equal!
