Sunny Music
About
I am experienced in teaching violin over a decade and have built a strong private studio sending my students to a competitions and colleges. The range of age and level in my violin studio is huge enough that I honed my skills in teaching thoroughly. I am sensitive to recognize what we need to focus on learning violin and that accelerates apparent improvement so that all my students feel confident and joy of playing violin. After many years of teaching, I highly think of communication with both students and their parents to know their needs and goals, and I make sure we cooperate to make the achievement together developing a healthy learning environment.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my doctorate in violin performance and literature at Indiana University where I studied pedagogy for students at all levels and ages. My minor was in music theory so that I can also teach my students how to read music and help them understand music easily.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Students are welcome to come to my studio for their lessons but I am also happy to drive to my student's place. However if the distance reqires me to pay toll fee to my student or the distance is further than 10 miles from where I live, I may charge extra for gas and toll fee. My standard price for one hour lesson is $80 and this does not include gas mileage. We can discuss accordingly.
