We offer in-person or online piano and voice lessons, a free consultation with a demo session, and a special program made for quick progress for all ages and levels. Pop, Classical, Musical Theater, Rock, Jazz. Our students often win piano and vocal competitions, get lead roles in Broadway musicals (local and nationwide), participate in theater shows and city festivals. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching methods vary according to each individuals needs. Depending on his/her experience or goals, we will work together to come up with a lesson plan that works for my student. I also encourage all my students to choose pieces they are excited to play or sing from a variety of styles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Margarita Groysman has been teaching students of all ages for over 19 years and hold a Master's Degree in Music Pedagogy. She has also worked in the public school system as a music teacher, directed children's choirs, and choreographed musicals. In 2005, Mrs. Groysman brought the idea to McKinney Repertory Theatre to make the Children’s Summer Musical Theater Camp where she worked as a vocal coach in the production of The Music Man, Jr. Also she produced musicals as The Wizard of Oz, Annie, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music.

How did you get started teaching?
I made up my mind when I was in high school that I want to be piano performer, piano and vocal tutor. I feel equally confident and enjoyable in playing and teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach students from age 3 and up. hey are from various cultural backgrounds. The teaching method is specifically designed and modified for him/her. It is also the charm for teaching piano lessons, that I can communicate with different people and share all kinds of ideas about music.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Learning piano needs patience and persistence. It takes time to see your progress sometimes, but don't feel frustrated about it too much. Regular practice and communication with teacher will be the essential to pass this period.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself if you are ready to make commitment to learn this instrument after you find suitable instructor. Relax and enjoy your music journey!
