Shred Sesh
About
I use a completely new age form of teaching that really clicks with all my current students. It is a mixture of traditional teach and a computer program I use for teaching. Kids seem to pay attention more when I have the music on a screen rather than paper. The main goal I have with every student is not teaching them how to play everyone else's songs but how to utilize these techniques and shapes to create their own music. I'm in 3 bands A Tragedy At Hand, Behold my Majesty, and Take the Reigns all are on Facebook. I have shared the stage with bands such as Slipknot, Judas Preist, Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, Arch Enemy and so many more.
I get to mold people into amazing musicians.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start students straight into learning a couple simple songs so when I teach them scales I can show them how they are applied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching at Guitar Center for well over a year now. I average around 30 student a week and have taught from the ages of 6 to 73. I personally have played guitar 10 years and been in bands for 9.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do at home lessons for $50 an hour on Tuesdays Thursdays and Sundays. If you want to do a bundle for a month it is 160 so $10 off each lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I was at Guitar Center shredding some Petrucci and the lessons lead was so impressed he came and offered me a job and i have been teaching since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with kids all the way to seniors. I have 3 special needs student which I have made great progress with. The students genres rang from metal, pop, jazz, country, rock, funk and techno. If you want to learn a song that doesn't have guitar ill transpose it and teach it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that can play the things you want to play and more. You want a teacher that is even better than the level you originally had in mind.
