About
My name is Stanley Johnson, 28 yrs old and I am USN veteran and amateur boxer at Paradigm training center. My current record is 10-2 and I am 2020/2021 Houston Golden Gloves champ and 2019 Sugerbert national champion. I am very passionate about the sport and I love to train new people. I am looking forward to training with you!!
Boxing is my passion and I've always wanted to fight, but because of my job in the service I could not compete. Now that my contract is up, I can dedicate a lot of time to the sport I love and training others who would like to fight or are just looking for a different workout.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1st session will be learning the basics of boxing. I will teach proper stance and hand positioning as well how to throw jabs and straights. We will also go over the warm ups and I will assess your conditioning so I can plan ahead for future sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about 8 years of experience with boxing/HIIT training and 2 1/2 years of competion experience. I am currently 10-2 as an amateur boxer, a Sugar Bert National champion and 2020/2021 Houston Golden Gloves champion.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes my standard price is 30/hr for 1-2 people and $60 for groups of 3-5 people. This price is for training outside of the gym which could be down at the students preferred location or parks/my garage. If you would like to workout in the gym there is $50/month facility fee which will give you access to Paradigm Training Gym ( located 10500 W bellfort Ave suite 200 Houston, Tx 77031). This includes access to bags, ring/cage, weight room and sauna. Also will give you one free session with myself every month while all recurring session after that will be $30 a session. Looking forward to working with you!!!
How did you get started teaching?
I've always had a passion for boxing and I've been on the learning side for most of my adulthood. Over the years I realized that I love passing on my knowledge of the sport just as much as competing and wanted to help others who are trying to learn. I am open to students of all ages/backgrounds, whether you want to learn to compete, self-defense, or just looking for a new workout.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly other fighters from my gym, family, friends, and anyone who is looking for a solid boxing/hiit workout.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do not be afraid to ask questions and always let the trainer know of any restrictions you may have. (Injuries, dieatary, etc)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is is worth the price?(Lets be honest you never want to overpay for someone who doesn't know what they're doing.)
Am I ready to be committed to this workout?
Do I have the time?
Can I make it to the sessions on time consistently?
