About
I'm Just an everyday person that happens to know a lot about Conditioning and the Sports of Basketball and Boxing Specifically. At this time, my schedule does not allow me to work with very many clients. I tend to be more patient and generous with my coaching style as a result.
I enjoy seeing clients develop stage by stage to perfection of their craft.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a sales person for memberships at 24 Hour Fitness in 2004. I had lots of experience training myself and I appeared to be very fit. My first client was a member of the millitary who I was trying to sell a 24 Hour Fitness membership to. I lost the sale but was later approached by the same individual about conducting personal training sessions at The VA hospital which was free for millitary personnel. At the time I was not certified and so I offered my service at a discounted rate. The sessions were so succesful that I decided to work as a trainer instead of a sales person. I studied for the ACE exam material, The NETA exam material, and Finally the ISSA exam material. Choosing ISSA as the certification agengy of my choice to settle into. Since that time I have worked as a Trainer for World Gym, Anytime Fitness, Fort Bend County Health and Human Services, PABA Boxing Gym, and as a free lance trainer in my off time. I enjoy seeing people transform degree by degree through fitness and sports training.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with competitive youth and adult athletes primarily in the sports of basketball and boxing. I have worked with fitness clients from among the youth , adult, and senior adult age population.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice is to find someone who has some experience participating in the activity you are looking to be taught as well as experience in teaching that activity. When possible choose the teachers that have more experience teaching above those who may have more experience participating. Those who are talented in the activity do not necessarily have the patience to be great teachers, but those with more teaching experience are proven in the area of teaching and typically make up for lack of talent in the activity by engaging in continuing education.
