I started boxing when l was 6 years old and fought as a amatuer until l was 20 and turned pro and fought professionally til l was 30. I am a former International Boxing Association Featherweight Champion. I have managed and trained boxers after retiring from my boxing career. I use to own and run a boxing gym in San Marcos for 15 years. I have trained beginners to be amateur champions and l have a passion to help and teach the sport l love. Finding out their reasons for the training and making sure they get what they need for their training.

Training a kid from a beginners point all the way to the professionals and seeing him compete on a high level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they show you by example what their teaching you. Make sure they have the credentials to prove it and treat you like they want to help you and that you feel you're getting your worth in a session.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about setting realistic goals as in training, weight, competing, etc...
