Vocal, Ukulele, Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano and Songwriting Lessons
Hi there! I’m a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and experienced private music instructor in the Austin area. I offer lessons in Vocals, Ukulele, Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano Songwriting, Recording and Production.
I have a taught students of all ages, from 3-65. I especially enjoy teaching children and beginners. Helping people learn the basics and nurture a love for music is so fulfilling! I enjoy teaching a variety of styles, using elements of classical, pop, even jazz or rock to develop a students’ skills. If the student has interest in a specific style, I’m happy to focus on that style. Whatever keeps the student engaged and learning efficiently!
Due to current circumstances, I offer lessons via webcam only. (Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, Google Meet, Etc.) My standard rates are $30 for 30 minutes or $50 for 1 hour, however these may be negotiable if you have special circumstances or siblings taking lessons together.

10+ years playing clarinet, saxophone and singing in multiple ensembles.

I love finding new and enjoyable ways to help students learn. Every student has different needs! I also take time to find out what style and type of music the student wants to play so we can adjust the curriculum appropriately!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to spend some time in the first lesson learning about your experience and goals. I'll ask a few questions usually, and maybe ask the student to play/sing something so I can get idea of where they're at.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
At the moment I offer only online lessons, for which I charge a standard $35 for 30 minutes and $55 for 60 minutes.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a school in Austin in 2018 when they were seeking teachers for a new location. I had recently graduated from ACC and was seeking a job in my field. Teaching music lessons was the perfect opportunity!

I have worked with students ages 3-65 and with many styles including jazz, pop, rock, classical hip hop/electronic.
