About
I've taught many students in the past and enjoy helping students achieve their playing goals! I'm an adaptable teacher which makes me a beginning guitar students dream. Learning the guitar can be frustrating and unrewarding in the beginning. Being able to adapt to each students specific goals allows me the time needed to design a perfect lesson plan.
My favorite part about teaching the guitar is watching the students progress. The smile on their face when it clicks and they begin to see their potential.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If they are a beginner starting with no knowledge of music at all, I like to start with he piano as my intro. By understanding the notes on a piano allows a new student to understand how a guitar works. From what I have experienced a little piano knowledge goes a long way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied music at Tarrant County Jr College as I was working to major in music. I took lessons myself at a young age and learned later on about how to approach a lesson. There were things that could have fast forwarded my playing that I think are paramount to a beginner. I also graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas last year where I also studied music. I have also taught many of my friends and my friends kids guitar.
