My daughter took piano from Mrs Cobb for several years. The wealth of knowledge that Mrs Cobb passed to my daughter through those years still plays an important part in her life today. She has gone on to Dallas Christian College and although she is not pursuing a degree in music, she is an active part of the Ministry Team. Cathy is a patient and experienced teacher who was able to help my daughter learn the theory and skills needed to become an accomplished pianist. She also worked with and encouraged my daughters natural ability both in playing the piano and composing songs. I cannot imagine a better piano teacher for my daughter.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, to establish a rapport and get to know them individually and learn their piano goals.
We start out learning basic techniques such as values of notes, rests, time signature, the staff and how to count and keep rhythm.
