Hi, I'm Gabriela! I've been playing violin for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to perform in a variety of musical settings, including orchestra, mariachi, chamber music, musical theater productions, church services, and special events.

Some of my favorite musical experiences have included performing with Texas A&M's Aggieland Orchestra and Mariachi, participating in productions such as, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, Cinderella, and Hairspray, and working with musicians of all ages through both school and community programs.

During college, I was hired to help middle and high school students in mariachi programs, and that's when I discovered how much I enjoy teaching. Watching students build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy of making music for themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of being a musician.

As both a musician and a parent, I understand that every student learns at their own pace. My lessons are designed to build a strong technical foundation while keeping students engaged, encouraged, and motivated. I am committed to ongoing professional development and have completed the Suzuki Association of the Americas' Every Child Can! course, which emphasizes effective teaching strategies and nurturing a lifelong love of music in young beginners.
