Gabriela Violin Lessons

Hi, I'm Gabriela! I've been playing violin for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to perform in a variety of musical settings, including orchestra, mariachi, chamber music, musical theater productions, church services, and special events.

Some of my favorite musical experiences have included performing with Texas A&M's Aggieland Orchestra and Mariachi, participating in productions such as, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, Cinderella, and Hairspray, and working with musicians of all ages through both school and community programs.

During college, I was hired to help middle and high school students in mariachi programs, and that's when I discovered how much I enjoy teaching. Watching students build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy of making music for themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of being a musician.

As both a musician and a parent, I understand that every child learns differently. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation while keeping students engaged and motivated. Whether your child is picking up a violin for the first time or needs extra support outside of school orchestra, I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can grow at their own pace, celebrate their progress, and develop a lifelong love of music.
