What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I'll do an assessment of your skills, you will do various drills, I'll have you throw some punches, and we will work from there strengthening your weaknesses, and reinforcing the good technique you display.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have competed in various combative sports since 5th grade, and I still compete. I can teach wrestling and BJJ as well. The last several years I have taught boxing to youth and adults in the Downtown and Bellaire areas, I enjoy teaching boxing the most.

I have taught youth sports since I was in high school, teaching comes naturally to me. I enjoy boxing and enjoy helping people improve in the sport.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a good coach that's knows what they are talking about. Boxing isn't a game, you can get hurt. Take it serious!
