About

I teach with a flex schedule and I make learning exciting! My music lessons are designed to help the students excel in school. My music lessons are taught only in a positive mode, no negative reinforcement allowed.

There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student develope a talent. I love that 'Ah Ha' Moment when you see the light bulb come on and things start to click!

I started taking Voice Lessons from Ms. Lisa and then when I got to Junior High I took Clarinet Lessons from Mr. Gary! I highly recommend them! They really listen to me, and what I want out of Lessons. I cannot express how amazing Ms. Lisa was when I had a rough day or week and she would just listen to me. She could figure out just how to help me get through the lesson and end with a smile on my face. They are some of the best teachers around!

Frequently asked questions

We like to interview each student before taking them on as a full time student. I like to make sure that our personalities match well. I want to make sure that they want to be there. I can find out exactly what the student wants to get out of the lessons. As well as see what level the student is at.

Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education, Masters in Performance for Piano, Voice, and Organ; Certified inall Disabilities in Special Education

I teach lessons once a week or once every other week. If you take a piano lesson once a week it is $25/ half hour. If you take a voice lesson once a week it is $40/45 minutes.

My concert Educator had me teach her beginning students as I was acquiring my degrees. I developed a passion for giving the gift of music to students.

I have worked with a broad range of students. My students range from age 4 to 81! Each student has their own personality, and way of learning. I do my best to work with each student on an individual basis. I know that not everyone learns the same way.

My most favorite event are the shows (recitals) my students put on!
