About

I've been around music my whole life and have been playing the violin for 50+ years and guitar for 30+ years. I was a studio musician for 20 years where I had the opportunity to play background music for movies and songs.

I find that music brings relaxation and the medical benefits of stress relief. I am very passionate about music and love to teach those that are excited to learn the violin and/or guitar. You can find me on YouTube by searching 'Azim Khan Violinist.

    Frequently asked questions

I first assess their level of experience and then understand their learning goals and interests with the instrument. I then customize a teaching plan for each student and we carry forward from there. Each session is 1 hour and I recommend at least one lesson a week. However, some students require 2 lessons per week. A student can always request additional lessons as well. However, since the lessons are typically 1-2 times per week, it is important to understand that at home practice is key to ensure we make progress during each lesson.
