First the lessons are in his home and both him and his wife made you feel at home. Their studio is in a good location. Joe seems to be excited about helping my son use his classical training to become a gospel musician. I think he has my 12 year old's interest too as we pray he will develop his talents to the next level to be able to not just play for special music but to play for a service. As a parent, I look forward to seeing how the two will click and grow. I can't wait!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

1. New students are provided an Assessment Survey, via Email.  Survey includes identification of musical goals, current knowledge of their music and ability to play the Piano; assessibilith to a Smartphone, iPad and/or Personal Computer; student's desired lesson duration; e.g. 30, 45 or 60 mins; how often lessons are desired; e.g. weekly, 2x monthly, monthly; availability for week evenings and Saturday lessons, and how long lessons are desired; e.g. 6 months, 1, 2 or 3 years.  Student's Survey is analyzed and results are communicated to student and/or parents.  Subsequently, Orientation, review of Standing Operating Procedures, demonstration of Howze, Piano Instructor,  musical skills, and if all are in agreement, studio lessons begin.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Joe Howze, Sr received formal piano and organ lessons in developing his musical skills, at an early age. He has played in a variety of faiths of churches in Alabama, North Carolina, Texas, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, Korea, and Germany.

His musicial experiences includes Minister of Music, Director, Pianist, and Organist.
