About
I've been playing the piano since I was 11 years old. I attended a music camp as a child and began getting frustrated as I was learning how to read music. I couldn't figure out how to read the music while playing, so I began playing by ear. As I became older I still wanted to learn how to read music so I began teaching myself. I discovered SightReading and immediately started to enjoy reading music again.
Later I started "Music 4 The Future" because I wanted to teach others how I learned how to read and play music so quickly. I believe "Lessons + Fun = Success 4 Everyone."

I enjoy seeing the excitement of my students after all the hard work. Sometimes it takes a little bit of discipline, focus and determination. They always find a way and they are always willing to take on the next challenge.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We tailor the lesson to each student. During our consultation, we determine where you are and meet you there. All skill levels are encouraged and we will work with you patiently.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played the piano all of my life. I've been self taught which gives me an advantage of teaching more creatively while having fun. You will learn theory and develop good muscle memory while learning more effectively & efficiently.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer up to 8 lessons per month for $149. You choose if you use all 8 or not.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a profound understanding of failure before my success from experience of music notation and piano at a music summer camp as a child. I was frustrated that even after learning the music staff & piano keys, I couldn't put them both together. I pushed myself to self-education on chords and music before getting a breakthrough with the discovery of Sight Reading, which enabled me to learn faster. That was the moment I decided I wanted to share this with others and begin to teach it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages, starting at age 5 up to Seniors. I have taught individuals who spoke other languages, students who want to play faster than they can learn. I have even taught students who may not be as patient in order to retain the information.
When it comes to my students, I make the necessary adjustment because it is important to understand them in order for them to learn the best way they can.
