Hello everyone! My name is CJ. I have been playing since the age of 13 where my passion for music was exposed and expressed through keys. I play from a place of passion and I help students to find this same passion within themselves. Whether you have never played the piano or consider yourself an intermediate player, I will teach you the skills necessary to play through passion. Because I can teach students to learn from sheet music AND uncovering their "ear" for music, students leave each lesson with a sense of accomplishment and confidence in their potential.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to assess the student at first and come up with a unique lesson plan that specializes a student strengths and will help strengthen their weaknesses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Music from Fayetteville State University. I have been giving private lessons and tutoring to students of all ages for 7 years now.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginner to intermediate students of all races from ages ranging from 6-75 years old.
