Music has always been a part of my life. I've played piano for more than 40 years and been active in music education---from private studio teaching of all ages to recital accompanying and chamber music coaching---for nearly 20 years. My teaching philosophy focuses on joy and flexibility to form lifelong musicians---because not every student responds best to traditional methods. My studio incorporates emerging teaching approaches into traditional classical and Suzuki methods, so every student has the opportunity to build keyboard technique and experience, regardless of learning style.
