About
I'm a music educator from Washington DC, now living in Los Angeles, and I teach online lessons. I've been teaching piano for 5 years and have played for over 20!
I'm so passionate about sharing my love of piano with others and specialize in grade school students. Learning music is fun, and a great way to express yourself and embrace creativity!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Piano wasn't always easy for me! I almost quit when I was 12. What got me over the hump to where I am today? Realizing that with practice comes the freedom to play anything you want! For me, it was songs from the Mulan soundtrack!
I motivate my students the same way I motivated myself as child: supplementing your technique and theory work with the opportunity to play songs you are excited to practice! Whether that's Beethoven or Taylor Swift, I'm here to help. I make my lessons fun and low stress so that you're eager to keep trying and learn more, even when it gets hard.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began taking piano lessons at age 6 and trained classically before venturing out into my favorite genres: pop, folk, and new age. I also work in professional theatre and my musicianship has been a big part of my craft as an artist!
I taught piano and voice at Bach to Rock music schools in the DC area for 3 years before starting my business and taking on my own students.
In 2015 I graduated fromThe College of William and Mary and received a B.A. in Theatre and Sociology.
