About
Hi! I’m Tian, a pianist and piano teacher with a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree in Piano Performance and over 10 years of teaching experience. I work with students of all ages and levels — from young beginners to advanced students — with lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style.
My goal is to help every student build strong technique and musicianship while discovering real joy in playing the piano. I strive to create an encouraging and enjoyable learning environment where younger students can develop a lasting love for music, and adult students can learn, grow, and enjoy making music at their own pace.
Private lessons are available at my home studio in Annandale, VA, on a Kawai grand piano, as well as online via Zoom.
