TJP Piano Lesson

I believe all students should nail down the basics before moving on to more difficult, advanced levels. I tailor my lessons to my students' individual needs, whether it be learning piano for fun or for preparing an audition tape for college admissions. I teach my students as if they were my own children.

I've studied and concentrated on music since high school, attending music schools and studying it in college (Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea). I've never considered a different profession other than teaching music. Although it can be difficult with so many different types of students and student needs, it's a rewarding experience seeing their performance improve and seeing them perform on stage. I've taught many students in the past specifically for getting into music schools and colleges, but even those who learn for fun I hope that their new skills enrich their lives in the future.
