About
I have an overhead camera on my piano, as well as a webcam of me, which provides an edge over other teachers. I also will write out any custom song request and teach jazz music theory to help my students learn how to improvise!
I love seeing my students overcome obstacles and make the music they love!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first ask them to play what they already know. Once that's done, I link some suggested books based on what their goals are. Finally, I check in each lesson with their progress as well as how life is going, so I know how best to adapt to their situation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of music teaching experience, and I've worked at various local music schools, from Music & Arts, to 4/4 School of Music. I still take contract positions with local middle and high schools, as well as Village KIDSTAGE.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons start at $30 per lesson, with adjustable rates!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in order to continue to improve my own musicianship, back in high school. I loved it so much that I continued to do it and build up my studio. I am always looking for new students to help discover and nurture a passion for music and art!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many types of students, from all different backgrounds and genres, and different ages. No matter the challenge, I am happy to explore new genres with my students!
