I have an overhead camera on my piano, as well as a webcam of me, which provides an edge over other teachers. I also will write out any custom song request and teach jazz music theory to help my students learn how to improvise!
I love seeing my students overcome obstacles and make the music they love!

The instructor is personable, good to work with. He works with your schedule. He makes things about the instrument and music understandable. He isn’t afraid of asking questions and he answers all of my questions. I highly recommend him. I have learned so much from him and I continue to learn more.
Very personable and fun. I really like that his classes are structured and he keeps notes of the lesson notes and progress.
I first ask them to play what they already know. Once that's done, I link some suggested books based on what their goals are. Finally, I check in each lesson with their progress as well as how life is going, so I know how best to adapt to their situation.
I have over 20 years of music teaching experience, and I've worked at various local music schools, from Music & Arts, to 4/4 School of Music. I still take contract positions with local middle and high schools, as well as Village KIDSTAGE.
Lessons start at $30 per lesson, with adjustable rates!
I started teaching in order to continue to improve my own musicianship, back in high school. I loved it so much that I continued to do it and build up my studio. I am always looking for new students to help discover and nurture a passion for music and art!
I have worked with many types of students, from all different backgrounds and genres, and different ages. No matter the challenge, I am happy to explore new genres with my students!
