    Shilpa at Peace Yoga is a WONDERFUL yoga instructor. I am an avid tennis player and have tendinitis in one of my feet. She took a great amount of time to help me improve the tendinitis as well as my balance and strengthening my core.
    She would be a wonderful instructor for any age but for a 50+ Person whether you’ve never done yoga or are an expert she is amazing! There’s no doubt I will be continuing with Shilpa.

    I like that Shilpa’s class is about going inwards and feeling grounded. Other teachers use music and she don’t. Music is distraction and I like that in her class we focus on the self and on going inwards. This is very much needed as these days there is no support from elsewhere. Yoga gives me that support and I find it at Shilpa’s class.

    I have done yoga on and off in the past at a local gym. I never really knew if what I was doing was right. A friend of mine introduced me to Shilpa. I took a couple private and semi private classes.  For each Asana she explains which muscles to engage and she assures that you are in the correct position. She also uses props for balance and alignment which I now find very helpful. She is a wonderful teacher, easy and comfortable to work with, understanding and passionate about her work. The combination of meditation, stretching, and relaxation made each session like a mini retreat.

I have been taking Yoga classes with Shilpa for more than an year now, it’s been a wonderful experience. She is very knowledgeable, experienced & a great yoga instructor. She is very patient, explains the poses very well & helps you get in to the restorative posture. Shilpa is an awesome yoga teacher & provides excellent coaching. I always look forward to her class. I highly recommend Shilpa for Yoga classes, try it out to experience it.

    I met Shilpa in the spring of 2017 while practicing yoga. I was very impressed with her yoga presence and understanding of Yoga. She is attentive and thoroughly explains the benefits of each pose while making adjustments when necessary to attain the correct alignment. Through her understanding of the body and of Purna Yoga she has a great sense of what people’s limits are and appropriate level of difficulty. She has the great ability of bringing out the best in people’s practice while being informative and compassionate. I am very grateful and lucky to have met Shilpa. She is not your cookie-cutter yoga instructor.
