Josh watched all my sons game film from the previous year and came back with areas to improve on. Over the course of the summer Josh worked with my son on his speed and agility and worked on his skills for football. My son went from being a backup player to a starter and he also received several awards, All-Conference and All Region. I would highly recommend Josh to any athlete no matter the sport if you want to improve your athletic ability.

I improved my athletic ability as well as gained more knowledge about my sport and my position. I am now better at my sport because of the new skills I have and being able to be a smarter player

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I always go through an interview process. I believe it’s just as important for the athlete to interview me as it is for me to interview them.  A good fit is a must in order for the athlete to be successful. If the athlete has any game film I request that I can view in order to see how they play in actual games so I can see the strengths and weaknesses so I know the best areas to work on.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am former college football player and I tried out professionally. My degree is in exercise physiology and sports nutrition. I have been coaching since 2003.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We offer many different packages for our athletes which all have different pricing associated with them. We will send our pricing packages to any interested athlete

How did you get started teaching?

I started Coaching while I was playing in college. We used to hold camps in the summers and after I was done playing I continued following my passion and continued coaching.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with athletes from 5th grade all the way 12th grade. I also work with college athletes in the off season to help them improve their game or fitness levels.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Always interview any potential coaches to make sure that it will be a correct fit for you. Make sure to find out their background and playing and coaching experience. It is vital in your development to hire the right coaches.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are my strengths?

What are my weaknesses?

In what areas do I want to improve?

Am I coachable?

What are my goals for training?

What are my goals for the seasons?
