What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Speaking to a new students is where I begin to see what their goals/needs are. Reaching the goals through methodic, relaxed engagement and interaction.

How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching something since I was 18. First, aerobics (up to 12 classes a week). Personal Trainer.
Yoga Teacher since 1994 under the guidance of many masters with over 23,000 clocked through Yoga Alliance.
My parents were educators... I just wanted to teach Art but taught Yoga first. Now I mix the two!
What types of students have you worked with?
YOGA: AZ Cardinals team members, Taylor Swift, MS Society, LEAP Society, Eastern Michigan University, Ohio University, doctors, chiropractors, Girl Scouts +++++
ART: Over 500 students a year. Former Paint Nite Instructor.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My new "Meditate to Create" program I'm offering in-person and online. Quitting my art teaching job. Why? Eratic behavior, lack of real interest for many, and the ability to grow my own business as a Yoga & Art Teacher (included Meditation.)
Currently I working on paintings videos for YouTube that are not instructive but relaxing.....
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Experience as a teacher and the quality of work you've been shown. If you like what you see, it's worth giving them a try!
