Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'm only free over weekends. I can meet you at the place of your choosing. The initial session would be focused on learning about you, your skills or past exposure to martial arts, your goals, likes/dislikes, and planning/scheduling. Then the fun begins. 😊
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started with free style wrestling in HS, military service, and college. Been a student of boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai since 2008 at various gyms, learning from wonderful coaches. Never missed a week of training. Did my fair share of sparing, but never fought.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We'll work it out. If I see your true passion & love for the sport, other things will be fine. I honestly feel like whether you're totally new to the sports or wanna fight, I can help you. I'm an intravert and quiet person. But I know what I need to know and I love the sport.
How did you get started teaching?
Never formally tought at a gym setting. Recently started teaching few private students on my very limited free times. People and coaches are quick to notice and appreciate my skill set. Some students happen to ask questions, and I help out. I hate not to share what I've learned over the years.
What types of students have you worked with?
Any and all are welcome. But if you're not athletic at all and have no passion for this sport, honestly that would be waste of our times.
