About
Hello! My name is Aimee and I am looking forward to meeting you. This year is my 18th in this industry and I love helping my students achieve their musical goals. I believe every student is unique and therefore feel it is necessary to give each student a learning approach that is suitable to their individual ability. Every lesson with me will provide to the student consistent advancement in musical knowledge. Whether it is Playing guitar, Singing, ( or both), or Playing piano, I will help you get where you want to be. I do incorporate in the Lesson Plan, learning Music Theory to the applied instrument. I encourage a positive approach to learning music to ensure goals are met. I am happy to announce that as of September 2019, I am teaching at Maurock Music School, in Gardena, California. A Super place to learn at great prices.
It brings me great joy to see a student learn how to play music. When a student achieves their musical goal it gives the desire and confidence needed to achieve all other aspects of learning - This will always be the best reward a teacher can ever experience. Please refer to my Website for Student Reviews as it is the Student's opinion that really matters the most.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For Guitar students, I look at the hand size to determine what instrument will be appropriate for the student. I ask what music the student is interested in learning and develop a plan for success. I like to have the student playing a song by the 4th lesson. For Vocal students, I listen FIRST to the vocal quality the speaking voice. I am able to hear certain textures, inflections, and various character tones, which enable me to hear what type of ability that individual may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years experience of teaching guitar, 10 years vocal coaching, and 4 years beginning piano. The ages I have taught range from 4 - 80. I have taught Special needs; ADD, ADHD, and Autistic. I have also worked with PTSD and various forms of Depression. Most importantly, I love teaching!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
