Hello! My name is Aimee and I am looking forward to meeting you. This year is my 18th in this industry and I love helping my students achieve their musical goals. I believe every student is unique and therefore feel it is necessary to give each student a learning approach that is suitable to their individual ability. Every lesson with me will provide to the student consistent advancement in musical knowledge. Whether it is Playing guitar, Singing, ( or both), or Playing piano, I will help you get where you want to be. I do incorporate in the Lesson Plan, learning Music Theory to the applied instrument. I encourage a positive approach to learning music to ensure goals are met. I am happy to announce that as of September 2019, I am teaching at Maurock Music School, in Gardena, California. A Super place to learn at great prices.
It brings me great joy to see a student learn how to play music. When a student achieves their musical goal it gives the desire and confidence needed to achieve all other aspects of learning - This will always be the best reward a teacher can ever experience. Please refer to my Website for Student Reviews as it is the Student's opinion that really matters the most.
I feel less than qualified to give the right review for Mrs. Aimee. Her background is impressive. I chose her because she helped people with special needs, I am one of those people. Also, because she is female. I wasn't sure if she would be right for me, Until I met her. She is a professional. She is more professional than my own therapists and doctors. She has the ability to inspire greatness. I will always benefit from her teaching me the guitar and knowing her personally.
I found Aimee after not being very satisfied with my daughter's previous guitar teacher. From my first conversation with Aimee, I knew choosing her was going to be the right decision. Her experience and expertise shows she knows how to teach and is good at it. My wife and I feel blessed to have found Aimee and we are planning to have her start teaching our youngest son piano.
My son Josiah has been taking guitar lessons from Mrs. Aimee since he was in Kindergarten. He is now in 3rd grade. In 2nd grade he also started taking singing lessons. She has been a God-send to us. She is a professional, hard working Music Instructor. She also worked with our crazy schedule and taught Josiah On-line when we were unable to get to her location on time. Mrs. Aimee is a consistent teacher who is also very patient and loving with her students. She made the lessons fun and interesting for my son by incorporating the kind of music genres he liked. She is not only Josiah's music teacher, but has now become a friend of the family
This was my first lesson. I think it will work for me!
For Guitar students, I look at the hand size to determine what instrument will be appropriate for the student. I ask what music the student is interested in learning and develop a plan for success. I like to have the student playing a song by the 4th lesson. For Vocal students, I listen FIRST to the vocal quality the speaking voice. I am able to hear certain textures, inflections, and various character tones, which enable me to hear what type of ability that individual may have.
I have 18 years experience of teaching guitar, 10 years vocal coaching, and 4 years beginning piano. The ages I have taught range from 4 - 80. I have taught Special needs; ADD, ADHD, and Autistic. I have also worked with PTSD and various forms of Depression. Most importantly, I love teaching!

I have worked with students of different ages; early learners at 4-12, teens 16-20 and Adults from 30-80. All multi-cultural, and exclude no-one.
I was able to see my youngest son sing his 1st Vocal performance.
Ask questions about what you want to learn. Check reviews that other students have written.
Am I able and willing to set aside time to practice? Am I willing to be honest with the teacher if I do not Understand something? Will I be realistic with the ability I have?
