Ernesto's Guitar Lessons

I like customized lesson. Also, my questions could be answered. There is always lots of useful information, practice methods, theory and so on. Last but not least, he is responsible and easy going.

Ernestro was my private instructor and an incredible one!!! I love that he really listened to me when I shared my guitar goals with him. He personalized a plan to help me achieve them! He also helped me prepare for my audition for Ceelo Green and I got the gig!

Some how, when Ernesto is explaining music and how to play a certain song, you feel this comfort and clarity others have a hard time doing. He will no doubt get you to the next level with your guitar skills and is an awesome person.

During my studies at Musicians Institute, I had the opportunity to work with Ernesto as my private guitar instructor. He has a lot of knowledge in technique and theory and also knows how to explain the more complicated aspects of them both so they are easy to understand.

His passion and attention to detail are soon apparent once you start working with him. His lessons helped me improve my playing tremendously.

I would recommend him as a teacher to everybody.

Ernesto is a seasoned supreme guitar instructor, virtuoso technical player, session guitarrist, mixing engineer and is highly respected in the Los Angeles guitar player scene. He has a very special ability to hear or watch the most difficult possible players (ie Shawn Lane, Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert), dissect their technique in detail (and this becomes very complex very fast) and not only reproduce it flawlessly no matter how hard, but is also capable to patiently teach his student precisely how its done while spotting each pitfall holding the student back. Complete proficiency in theory, repertoire or anything guitar goes without saying since he has decades of experience instructing at Musicians Institute Hollywood which is the pinnacle of guitar schools in the world. My playing made quantum leaps under his watch (especially understanding and applying technique) and I couldn’t recommend Ernesto more. If Jason Backer gets very excited about his playing and leaves him glorious praise comments watching his youtube videos, you should be sure to be in very good company!
