What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with the basics. I will then create a lesson plan for the student depending on whether they are an intermediate or beginner ukulele player. They will learn how to play up to 5 songs possibly more depending on the duration of our lessons. I will Introduce different strumming patterns and chord structures for them to practice each week.
They will receive a google doc with all of the music sheets and chord charts required for their lesson plans
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Music teacher with a non profit organization called Starting Arts in San Jose. We bring the arts into title one public schools so that children who may not otherwise have access to them can get a basic education in one of our many subjects. Dance, Theater and Music.
I teach Basic Music Theory along with Ukulele

Currently only offering Virtual lessons
Travel to my location in san jose:(This option is temporarily suspended due to Covid)
Virtual Lessons:
$50 for 1 hour session.
$30 for 30 min session.
for two students/related my rate is
$75- Hour
$45- Half an hour
If it is requested that I travel to students location:

$60 for 1 hour session.
$40 for 30 min session.
