Eclectic String Music is like no other! We design and individualize lesson plans to tailor the learning style of every student. All of our lessons are private and one-to-one. That way students get the attention and focus they need with the enjoyment of parents/family participation!
My teaching experience has been from the complete beginner to intermediate level. I have recieved awards from a website known as Thumbtack.com amd they are Top Professional and the Best of 2015.
We take great pride in our attention to the needs of the student. With this comes phenomenal growth and not just in music. Another added bonus is observing students who go from not knowing anything about music to seeing them grow into confident musicians!
Paul is very patient and encouraging.
Paul is very professional, knowledgeable and amiable. I’m enjoying working with him through my embryonic musical stage. Highly recommended.
It is evident that Paul has passion for music. He is flexible and patient. He communicates and accommodates to our needs. Best of all, he is pleasant to work with.
Very patient. Had lots of tools to help me learn. I would recommend him for all ages.
What I typically do is set up an intake appointment to see how to best meet the needs of a new customer. It is there where I discuss a lesson plan with the new customer to make certain they are receiving what they want. Then lessons are carried out on a regular scheduled basis either at my home studio or Skype.
I have been playing music over 50 years
Pricing is quoted at the time of initial contact that ranges from individual pricing to small group pricing that includes labor, materials, etc.
Instructing/Teaching guitar has always been a desire of mine to share what knowledge I've gained to people who have the same desire of learning, leaving a positive impact on their musical journey.
I have worked with customers ranging from 8 years old and up; from individuals, small groups to customers with special needs and home schoolers.
One of my students who started with me is a single father in his mid thirties. He started with no knowledge of the guitar and is at the point of sight-reading and gaining in understanding and he is now at the point of correcting his own mistakes! Another student of mine started with me and she too is sight-reading and playing. She also started with no knowledge and the progress she has made is absolutely amazing!
Make certain that the instructor/teacher will listen to your needs! There is not a one-size-fits-all approach to instructing/teaching the guitar as every customer learns differently and at their own pace.
The main questions that customers should be thinking about are:
Is this professional going to have a full understanding of my needs as a student and be able to meet them?
As a parent, is this professional going to have a full understanding of my child's needs and be able to meet them?
Is this professional reliable and trustworthy?
Is this instructor the right fit for me?
Is this instructor the right person for my child?
