A Better Method focuses on making the process of learning guitar fun and rewarding. One instructional method doesn’t fit all students. I draw from over a decade of teaching experience to create an individualized experience for each student.
-I teach beginning with all ages and abilities including those with special needs/disabilities.
-I teach electric, acoustic and bass guitar.
-I have been playing guitar and performing for 20 years and am excited to get you started on your own fulfilling musical journey.
I love helping people develop their musical interests. Knowing how to play guitar provides you with a lifetime of entertainment, expression and social opportunities. Facilating that growth is extremely satisfying for me!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by determining what type of learner the student is and what their cognitive strengths are. This allows me to customize my approach to each student. I show the student how to learn in a format that best fits them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-12 years of teaching experience in a variety of subjects.
-20 years of playing guitar.
-Kindness, patience and zero ego. (it's all about having fun and enjoying life.)
