Bravo Academy of Music was founded by husband and wife team Nick and Reena Fuentes in 2009. The couple wanted to provide a low-cost high quality music education in a safe, fun, and inspiring atmosphere.
"We believe that all students of music should be taught to understand the basics of music, such as note reading and theory while learning to play the style music they love. We aim to make learning music exciting and rewarding".
Nick studied music and classical guitar performance at Cal State Fullerton under the guidance of David Grimes, Richard Turner, and TK Gardner. He has performed in many concerts and events throughout California both as a solo artist and as a member of the Cal State Fullerton Guitar Orchestra. Nick is currently performing music for Traditional Wedding Ceremonies throughout Southern California and is owner of OC Guitar Weddings. Nick is also an active member of the Orange County Guitar Orchestra.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by scheduling a free trial lesson. In the trial lesson we evaluate the students age and experience on the instrument of their choice. Lessons are then tailored to the student each week depending on the students progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors are university trained musicians with experience in teaching private lessons to students of all ages.
