I love being able to help people and change their lives by building their confidence which is what this sport does even if it’s a just hobby for you. Seeing my students progress and reinvent themselves in and outside of boxing because of what this does for them makes me so grateful that I made an impact

How did you get started teaching?
I’ve Always wanted to help people become better and find their inner strength. It’s a great sense of accomplishment for the students and myself. When people see how dedicated you are, peers start to ask to learn as well
What types of students have you worked with?
Anywhere from age 8-55yrs old. Those in shape and athletic, struggling with weight loss, or even uncoordinated people
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just seeing new students come to me timid and self conscious but eager, and watching them grow into confident strong kids, adults, women. The excitement they have when they start to notice their progress and how far they've come
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
make sure they really know what they’re doing and it’s not just cardio boxing where they’re holding mitts for you every session, that’s not teaching real boxing and real self defense. There’s much more to it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
think about what you want from the training, what are your goals? Where do you see this taking you in a year, in five years?
