Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I sit down with all my students, get an assessment of where they are on the instrument, and ask them where they want to take their playing in the next six months. I can teach all styles and especially rock, blues, jazz, and country.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am unique because I studied at both the Musicians Institute (MI) in Hollywood and the Berklee College of Music. While at MI I studied with session ace, Dan Gilbert, and fusion legend, Scott Henderson. I have completed three programs at the Berklee College of Music to include Guitar Master, General Music Studies, and Professional Bass. While I Berklee I also studies with jazz legend Gary Burton.
