Voice Lessons - Vocal Coach - Singing Classes With An Argentinian Singer
About
Hi! My name is Verónica, I am a musician and educator, being Voice my main instrument.
Over ten years of experience teaching singing lessons and my educational background and training as a therapist provided me with tools to make the experience of learning music a truly rewarding adventure.
With a strategic work utilizing the songs of any style as a medium, students develop technique, build interpretational skills, and experience music as a channel to express emotions and heal.
Native from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with a broader audience and work in a diverse community.
My on-the-job training in different areas has given me a solid understanding of interpersonal relationships.
My musical background includes training in vocal performance, music theory, music skills -ear training, dictation, sightreading-, piano, and choir.
The added experience in Yoga and Pilates led me to infuse my teaching with an integral mind-body approach, teaching how to take care of our voice and maximize the vocal function.
Singing is fun, rewarding, and makes us connect with our best selves. Don ́t miss the chance to experience it!
I love to accompany my students in the discovery of their own unique voice and to help them build healthy habits that lead to a lifetime of singing and enjoyment, where every style and genre is welcomed.
I enjoy teaching both children and adults since I strongly believe that everybody can learn and improve.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In a first session, I usually ask about the student objectives and expectations for taking Voice lessons, in order to plan and adjust the classes to their needs. I also explain the general layout of the classes that I provide, so we can have a clear work plan.
Afterwards, in my lessons, we will cover breathing techniques, warm-ups, vocalization, repertory, and interpretation.
It is my intention to work as a bridge between the student and music as a fun, pleasant, and meaningful experience.
I strive to teach a healthy and integral approach to singing. We´ll work with the repertoire of your choice, as every genre and style has its challenges and possibilities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My musical background includes training in vocal performance, music theory, music skills, piano, and choir. My on-the-job training in different areas has given me a solid understanding of interpersonal relationships.
I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with a broader audience and work in a diverse community. I am also experienced in teaching students ranging in age from children to adults. I strongly believe that everybody can learn and improve.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching voice in 2009 at my home in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I wanted to share my passion for music and the idea that everybody can learn and improve, no matter where you come from or what your previous experience is. I still remember my first students, 2009: a couple that was getting married in December. It was March. They wanted to enter their wedding celebration singing live. They never sang in public before. What a challenge! Finally, it was a success! I witnessed it first hand: they invited me to their wedding, a wonderful experience! I feel blessed to accompany all my students on their musical journey and I also found out that I learn a lot from my students through teaching.
I moved from Buenos Aires to the Bay Area in 2019. Being fluent in both English and Spanish is an asset that allows me to communicate with a broader audience and work in a diverse community.
Be it towards a specific objective, or for the sole purpose of doing something you always wanted to explore, allow yourself to experience the joy of singing. You won´t regret it :)
What types of students have you worked with?

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
