I absolutely love teaching beginners and helping students overcome the fear, doubts, and barriers to starting a yoga practice. Seeing the progress of my students as they build strength and flexibility, recover from injuries, develop greater confidence in themselves, and form a deeper connection between their body, mind, and spirit is the most gratifying work I could ask for.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, it is important to first understand the student's goals, where they are currently, and where they want to be. At our first meeting, we will discuss these goals, any injuries and illnesses, current lifestyle (work, sleep, diet), and any previous experience with yoga. The first lesson will take the student through some basic yoga postures to assess where he/she is in their physical practice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

What types of students have you worked with?
I work with a broad range of students. I love to work with Beginner's and help remove any fears or insecurities about practicing yoga. I can provide a fun and challenging practice for students that want push themselves and work on strength. I also have worked with older students who need a more tailored and compassionate practice as well as those with injuries, stress disorders, and depression.
