I teach a slow flow practice where our main focus is being grounded in the earth and awakening our root chakras. I teach breath work along with meditative movement, mantras, and hands on reiki adjustments. My practice centers around slowing down and getting into the body and i specialize in yin and restorative yoga. As well as trauma sensitive yoga. I recieved my 200hr certification from true flow yoga in newport during the summer of 2015 and have gone on to do some more personal education as well take a course in recovery yoga. The Training Habit offers one on one personal training, semi- private training and small group classes. All personal training sessions are customized to each client's specific goals and body type. Vanessa grew up in South Africa and moved to Seattle in the early 2000s. In 2010 she took her first hot yoga class at a small local studio and quickly fell in love. When Vanessa and her husband moved to Orange County in 2015 she took the opportunity to deepen her practice. She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification at CorePower Yoga in the Spring of 2016.
