Vera did not make me feel nervous she was patient and well organised.

Vera is an exceptional guitar player and a very kind, intelligent, gifted teacher. I would highly recommend her to any beginner students. She is super accommodating and will teach you the songs and style you want to learn.

Vera is the best music teacher I have ever had ever, and I’ve tried a lot of different instruments on and off my whole life (piano, viola, guitar, voice). She is so kind, knowledgeable, and patient, while also constantly pushing me to be better. Each lesson feels like a challenge, and the pace is perfectly catered to my ability. She is constantly prepared and brings songs I know (I frequently suggest songs) and songs she thinks I will like that will be a challenge/appropriate for my skill level. My lessons also include an introduction to songwriting and musical theory! The connections Vera makes between music theory and the instrument are the only way music theory has ever made sense to me, and the skills I learn are immediately and clearly relevant to songwriting/performing on a stage/soloing. She is SUPER kind, open, and helpful for my songwriting. I feel so supported and encouraged by her and SO impressed with her work and her input on my songs. I feel so lucky to be able to take lessons from her and feel like I have improved SO much faster than I would have without lessons or with another teacher. Super flexible with times and scheduling as well! Finally, it’s just been so significant for me as a queer woman/non-binary person to take guitar lessons from someone who’s not a man! It’s been hugely empowering and significant for me! Vera is excellent and SO wonderful. Cannot praise her enough! TAKE HER LESSONS!!!
