Yearn To Burn
About
I have a different approach than most “professional instructors“… As I taught myself over the last 35 years and seem to have a pretty decent approach to it, I won’t teach people how to play songs. I will teach people how to understand the mechanics of learning how to play the guitar your desire to play the guitar determines how much progress you make, how much time you’re willing to invest into it and trust me that is number one on the list of commitments you must make to yourself if you ever wanna sound anything near what the music in your head is sounding like I created my own practice techniques and they were all geared towards building my dexterity first as you can imagine if I were to give you a map to a destination and a key to a car that was a stick shift and you didn’t know how to drive a stick shift you don’t know how to get there, but you wouldn’t know how to operate the machine that would get you there the first lesson that people need to learn is they can’t learn before they teach their hands to move and that is my first in what I’ve developed a three lesson series. I’m not into week after week of making people pay for something that they can teach themselves if they want to Truly learn their instrument be a guitar a base of violin a piano. They’re all just different ways of singing except you’re not using your vocal cords you’re using strings or air and a reed … The ultimate goal is to be able to translate the music in your mind directly to your hand without Conscious thought if you were talking, you don’t think about how you place your muscles before you begin speaking words in your throat, correct the same applies to becoming one with your instrument and if it’s you and you put the time into it, it’ll happen
