I Like to start on a Song that They Know.
( Its always more fun to play a song you lke and have heard of)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've Been Teaching Guitar At Manhattan Beach Music and Voice for 17 years. The owner decided on to close up ( He got Married and Moved out of the Country) So I am looking for Students. I Love to Teach!

$35.00 per 1/2 Hour
$70.00 for 1 Hour
If I need to travel more then 10 miles , I Charge $10 more for
Gas and my time in Traffic.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I taught a Girl friends little Brother.
I soon Discovered I was Good at it...and I Really enjoyed it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught 6 year olds to 64 years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have been working at Trinity Lutherian Church here in Manhattan Beach for 12 years. I am the Music Director for the Youth Group that performs at the 11am sevice every sunday.
We had a litlle Concert outside, and to see the Smiles on there faces as they performed....Just Priceless!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I am always asked from people getting ready to learn, and they say...Should I gert a Acoustic first and then work up to a Electric?
I say...If you want to play Electric , get a Electric!
If you want to play Acoustic ...get a Acoustic!
Get the One You want to Play!
It is a Commitment , you will only get out of it what you put into it. So....You gotta Practice...SO...why not Pracitice playing the songs YOU want to Play !!
