What separates me from most teachers is that I focus on PLAYING and DOING. My goal is getting my students to be playing their favorite songs and having my students create a genuine connection to their instrument and to music itself.
I will give suggestions on songs, but I encourage my students to pick songs that drives them. Songs that the students will love to play and have a great time doing it.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing the progression of a student. Especially when my students are excited to learn a their favorite songs from their favorite bands.
Brody supports his student in following their passion for specific songs or genre. He is a kind and motivating teacher. As his student I have learned a lot. He has also been able to modify our lesson during this time of social distancing so i can continue my lessons and learn
I feel lucky I was able to find Brody during this time of social distancing so I could further my guitar skills. He is a knowledgeable about teaching and open to helping me learn songs of my choosing
I recommend Brody, because he is a trustworthy and capable music teacher for as long as I’ve been a student for him. He is very good at both letting me work at my own pace on learning new songs and also helping me find and learn new ones once I’ve finished one. I feel that he’s been very accommodating for my schedule and when I am able to take lessons in the week.
Brody is an excellent music teacher! He really makes learning and playing fun. I was able to play some of my favorite guitar riffs and bass lines in the first few weeks of lessons. He also is very knowledgeable about music culture and this helps students feel connected to rock and roll lineage. If you want to learn keyboard, synths, guitar and bass, music production and song writing... and have a good time doing it, go see Brody!

I have always had a passion for music since I started playing when I was 7 years old. By age 14 I had my own Rock band and we wrote original songs. In order for my band mates to play the songs I had to teach it to them. That is when I realized that I enjoyed teaching music.
My neigboor became my very first guitar student.
My passion also became teaching music as well as playing.
