About
Professional guitar player with over 600 live performances, 4 albums and many years of playing rock, classic rock, and some light jazz. I am a player by ear, understand how theory works together. I can play most anything I can hear and can show how to do that by fining the key and framework for the progression, changes and scales that go around the music. Very straight forward understanding to how music works.
I also know how to set up guitars and know how to help get a good sound to help players cut through the clutter and understand what will allow them to get the best rig for their style. It starts with your hands but inevitably to the end of your speakers. If you want to come a long way very quickly, I can save you a lot of time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Listen to what your needs are. Find out where you want to get to. Who your favorite players are. Determine skill level and how your hands and mind approach the instrument. Music is music, it is more than just playing a physical instrument. There are both to be considered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old. I had lessons from some great players over the years in all styles including rock, r and b, and jazz.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 for a full hour. No 50 minute shortcuts. You get your money's worth and come when you want to learn. I would prefer you come as you need inspiration vs. every week just to come.
How did you get started teaching?
when all of my friends heard me, they started sending me people who wanted to learn. It all grew from there.
