The practice encompasses obvious physical elements, but it also requires and understanding of the technical, spiritual and cultural aspects to be fully appreciated. Our founder wanted the art to primarily be about self-improvement in order to make the world a better place. Instructing youngsters and adults in martial arts for over thirty years has been a great passion as a teacher in the arts. I work with the individual student in their goals and how they see themselves at the end of the lessons. How empowered they will be and the self confidence has grown in their personal life. I have instructed in kickboxing, self defense, martial arts, weapons and Tai Chi and have enjoyed all the arts.
